The staff of Honolulu Jewelry Company s decided to spend their lunch break at The Hawaii blood bank on August 18, 2015 afternoon and donated a total of 5 pints to help save 15 lives!

Donated blood is a lifeline for many people needing long-term treatments, not just in emergencies. Your blood's main components: red cells, plasma and platelets are vital for many different uses. Help us save lives!

HJA add to wish kid McKenzie’s wish of visiting Hawaii to swim with the dolphins

Hawaii Jewelers Association teamed up again with Jewelers for Children and Make-A-Wish Hawaii to add to McKenzie's wish of visiting Hawaii to swim with the dolphins! 11 year old McKenzie has Cystic Fibrosis and is traveling from her home town of East Tennessee. During her visit in Hawaii, McKenzie learned from Tom Wheeler, owner of Opal Fields about gemstones and was able to try on fine jewelry pieces on display at Opal Fields as well as receiving a special gift, 18ky with a faceted Turquoise pendant from Denny Wong, owner of Denny Wong Designs.

His winning pieces are FIRE & ICE: An icy blue apatite and fiery pink sapphire are the gems featured in this brilliant and charming white gold pendant. Some say fire, some say ice and KILAUEA: The flickering of red being emitted from the unique rose cut red garnet featured in this 18 karat gold pendant represents Kilauea’s fiery cauldron. The black tourmaline necklace it is dangling from represents the black basalt rock that is Kilauea.

Honolulu, Hawai'i - Make-A-Wish Hawaii recently formed a new partnership with Hawaii Jewelers Association! On Tuesday, March 17th, 2015, HJA members, Opal Fields and award winning designer, Denny Wong donated a darling piece of jewelry to Wish Kid Kayla from Tennessee! We are so grateful to have amazing partnerships like this.
