Hawaii Jewelers Association Elects New President

September, 14, 2006 - The Hawaii Jewelers Association (HJA) has elected Philip Rickard, owner of manufacturer Philip Rickard Honolulu, as president.

Rickard's company manufactures Hawaiian jewelry, with emphasis on heavy-weight gold or platinum and deep-cut ornate designs by master craftsmen. His designs attract celebrity clients such as Gwen Stefani.

HJA is the state association of Jewelers of America.

"As president, I look forward to finding ways to support HJA financially, through fund raisers and events, and creating educational seminars and programs," Rickard said.
