HONOLULU, HI (March 12, 2015) – Local company Maui Divers Jewelry won seven international jewelry design awards in the 2015 Jewelers’ Circular Keystone (JCK) Jewelers Choice Awards. The seven awards won represent the third most total awards won by any of the international entrants in this prestigious design competition. The Jewelers Choice Awards, now in its eighth year, is the industry’s largest design competition.
“All the jewelry we produce is inspired, designed and created locally. We are delighted to be recognized on an international stage,” said Cliff Slater, Chairman and CEO of Maui Divers Jewelry. “It’s wonderful to share our creations with this larger audience.”
The award-winning designs are inspired by the beauty of the Islands and include pendants such as a plumeria flower, a breaching whale and a nautilus. Another pendant uses the Hawaii state gemstone, Hawaiian black coral.
“It’s an honor to receive these awards,” said Cole Slater, Vice President of Design and Manufacturing. “It is great to see our team rewarded for their creativity and hard work.”

- “Lovers Embrace” Diamond Pendant in 18K Gold and Hawaiian Black Coral
o Third Place, Best Necklace Design ($2,501 - $10,000 Category)
- Crown Flower Diamond Ring in 18K Gold and South Sea Golden Pearl
o Third Place, Pearl Jewelry Over $10,000
